VicidialMobile Privacy Policy

This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their ‘Personally Identifiable Information’ (PII) is being used online. PII, as described in US privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with our application.

What personal information do we collect from the people that download and use our app?

Configuring VicidialMobile requires that the user enter a valid login and password for an account found in their Vicidial dialer database, as well as providing the URL to the mobile admin page of their installation. VicidialMobile does not collect names, contact information, or credit card information, nor is such information required to use it.

When do we collect information?

Once the VicidialMobile application is installed on your device, you will need to enter the aforementioned account and URL information in the application's settings. The information can be changed at any time. URLs can use the HTTPS protocol, and the account information is sent only to that URL at the time the application is used.

How do we use your information?

User account information is passed to the URL specified in the app configuration for user authorization purposes. If the information is valid, then access to the mobile version of the Vicidial admin interface is granted.

How do we protect your information?

Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. Also, the dialer allows for encryption of user credentials on the database side.

Do we use ‘cookies’?

The admin interface uses the username and password you provide it to do a www-authenticate using the basic scheme, which encodes the data using base64. Cookies are not set.

Third-party disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information.

Third-party links

We do not include or offer third-party products or services on our app, although we may recommend some third party products that complement our products and services.
