Agent Only Server?

Hey Guys,

I have gone back and fourth with Asterisk13 and Asterisk11, I have even attempted to AMD AGENT ROUTE METHOD with only
HUMAN,HUMAN
NOTSURE,TOOLONG
turned on, I am still getting A LOT of dead air calls.

When I switch back to Asterisk 11 its almost cut in half, I think maybe Asterisk 13 just takes more resources because it works just fine until the channels really start to shoot up.

I want to setup 3 servers that will only be agent servers running asterisk 13 so I can use webrtc but then use the asterisk 11 servers to dial only. I have not had any luck doing this because even if I turn off Balance Dialing on the asterisk 13 agent servers it still uses them to dial out.

How would I go about just using the Asterisk 13 servers as only agent servers that don't outbound with the rest of my asterisk11 servers. The only thing I have not tested is during the install of the server to not install it as a telephony server, but I am not sure.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Which specific version of Asterisk 13 were you using?

I'm not sure what the issue would be then, we've moved dozens of clients that use AMD over to the newer Asterisk 13 builds and with the proper settings they don't have the excess live calls pass through to agents as you are reporting.

try this for the wait for silence options: 2000,2,30

I will give it a shot. Ya we get a lot of dead air. With asrerisk 11. We would hardly ever hit dead air.

Am I the only one that is still getting a ton of dead air and answering machines on asterisk 13? I am getting 80% voicemails with fresh DID's and thats with AMD on.

no, it may actually have something to do with stir/shaken and the scam shield shit from tmobile / sprint

well i dont get 80%, but like 40%
