I am not able to install vicidial in opensuse 42.3 . I am using opensuse script to install vicidial in opensuse. I am getting error

How did you try to install VICIdial?

Did you find out what the dependencies are for it, and install those first?

Is there a reason you're not installing Vicidial using the Vicibox.com .iso installer?

If you are certain you want to install manually from a pre-installed OS, try CentOS and the instructions on Goautodial.com. You'll initially get an older version of Vicidial, but if you want to you can upgrade to the latest version of Vicidial (which will overwrite the Goautodial installed version, and break functionality of the "customized" goautodial pages ... but still result in a fully-functional, latest-greatest Vicidial!).

He is trying to install on Linode. I’ve been seeing ads for them recently too. Linode Cloud server $5/month/1GB Ram/25 GB Storage/1 TB Transfer.

When they install there there is a choice of OS to install, including OpenSuSE Leap 42.3 and Centos.

In which case: CentOS and GoAutoDial.com's instruction set for how to turn stock CentOS into Vicidial by using the goautodial repositories. After that works, an upgrade of the vicidial scripts and db and *poof*. Latest greatest. Goautodial is great for that.

William, a little off topic what can you tell me about FreePBX and Freeswitch. In what situations would they be useful?

Probably in a forum topic called "FreePBX and FreeSwitch". Definitely not in a forum topic called "unable to install vicidial in opensuse". That being said: If you have a need for these, you'd probably know it. If you just like to keep busy, that's a different story entirely.
