I am having nearly the same issue although i am sending call directly through sip trunk no carrier or other server between only one cluster to another cluster. Any advice?

"same issue" is not a valid statement on a thread this long (I won't guess how many problems may have been listed during its lifetime). Post your actual error ... and whether you have tried any of the solutions posted for That Error and what the outcome/result of that was. 8-)

Also Vicibox 5 from standard iso ... you should include the entire version. Makes a difference.

I made an entire other post in regards to my issue some time ago. Which i still have not come to a resolution on. Thank you for the info.

I got the same problem. Tried 3 VoIP's but all the same result. I tried ONHOOKICID on Customer Phone got the same also. Using Survey->Call Menu -> Ingroups. On realtime report. it is showing correct cust phone. but when transferred to agent. the call is not showing correct caller id, but rather shows V09 something. Any other solution?

Of course, you did not mention whether these agents with on-hook phones are external or SIP or IAX.

Try using a call path to the agent that does not include the "agi" line. DO NOT use this same path for outbound calls to prospects, only to the Agents.

And my earlier remark of "same problem" applies. It's tempting to "summarize" your problem because it's "same as" and not show all your configuration information. Then we can't help you because we have to assume you just have a setting incorrect (which is normal, actually) and suggest you check the manual for configuration.

So ... list all the pertinent configuration information *for your system and all settings related to this particular issue specifically) and perhaps we can help. :)

1) Welcome to the Party! 8-)

2) As you are obviously new here, I have some suggestions to help us all help you:

When you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

This IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

This is the Dialplan that I recently made.

Survey Campaign 8366 -> Press1 -> CallMenu1 -> Press2 -> CallMenu2 -> Press1 -> <b>INBOUND GROUPS</b>

Once it is in the inbound groups, it shows on the agent diff number. V60123214125663243 Something. Not the correct customer phone, ON realtime report is showing correct caller ID. I already made the inbound groups ON HOOK CID set to CUSTOMER PHONE. By the way, I am not using Remote Agent, I am the agent logging in directly to the campaign.

Once the SURVEY transferred to "CALLMENU" and then to agent, that is where shows diff number. the V601*** something.

That's the CallerID name, not the CallerID number.

Is it possible to make it show the Caller ID number? I tried all the suggestion and other suggestion in this forum, but it shows the CID Name. not the phone number itself.

I tested this:

CUSTOMER->DID->CALLMENU->PRESS1->INGROUPS = WORKING! It will show the correct caller id of the customer.

However this is what I need and it is not working.

CAMPAIGN LEADS -> DIAL CUSTOMER-> PLAY SURVEY -> PRESS1 -> CALL MENU1-PRESS1->IGROUPS = NOT working, show CName(V6000000XXXXX) rather than CID.

Help will be much appreciated.

What do you have the Call Menu's Handle Method set to for it's transfer to an in-group?

Call Menu Handle Method set is CID. I tried CIDLOOKUP and other SETTING ANI etc. it is showing blank.

SUCCESS! :) Yey. it is showing the number now. thanks matt. I tried ANI before it is not showing anything that is why I didn't try it.
