Recording Issues

Postby benghoi » Tue Sep 25, 2012 6:34 pm

I need help in my recordings. I encountered two issues in our recordings:

1. Cut-off Recordings
2. Recordings with 0 size

Please help me how to solve this issue.

Thanks!

Find a single occurrence and check your logs for that moment in time and see if the "cutoff" or 0 size recording was "feature based" (ie: on purpose) or if this was a crash of some sort.

Consider posting your server load during an occurrence, try to determine if it is predictable in any way to try to capture logging/debug information and see it happen.

Logs are in /var/log/astguiclient and /var/log/asterisk. Some are dialplan logs (asterisk) and some are agi scripting logs (astguiclient). Logs can be managed from /etc/asterisk/logger.conf and within the Vicidial web gui at "Admin->Servers".

Good job posting your specs 8-)

vicibox installs everything necessary.

but: when you checked drive usage, if the system was idle the RAM drive would always be empty. you have to check when th 0 WAV files are happening. if the monitor tmpfs is full ... you need more RAM for larger monitor.
