Remote Install Required

Postby ChrisUK » Sun Apr 04, 2010 6:37 pm

Hello!

I'm in the process of starting a telemarketing agency in England.

We intend to rent a dedicated server (specification below) to run Vicidial from poundhost (dot com).

Dell R200 Intel Core2Duo E2220 2.4Ghz
1GB DDR RAM
160GB SATA HDD
Linux OS (Either Cent OS, Fedora, Debian, Ubuntu, Suse)

There will be 5 agents (although we will be expanding to 50 over a 12 month period) at a ratio of 1:4 calls.

Our VOIP provider will be supplying 25 SIP trunks (we can add more at a later date).

First question...

Do you think the above spec will be ok?

Second question...

How many agents do you think we could run on the above spec?

Third and final question...

I need someone to do a remote install as I'm a Windows/Mac guy and not Linux! Note: The server isn't located in our office so the install will have to be done via the net (via SSH/shell access etc if possible).

We would also like to take out a support contract too.

Any companies taking finance (i.e. Free install then 2 year support contract paid monthly etc)

Thanks
Chris
