Hi Guys

Please give some advice on hard drives for the different servers on 160 seats all calls recorded:

1. Database server Raid 10, SCSI Drives. How much drive space would you recommend?
2. Web Server. How much drive space? Is SATA fine and must it also be Raid?
3. Vicidial. Same question as number 2.
4. Archive Server. Same question as above.

Thanks in advance.

DB server should use SCSI or SAS 15k with a RAID 10. For space, you shouldn't really need any more than 150GB total. Don't ever go cheap on the database server, load it up with tons of RAM too.

For web server, doesn't really matter.

For VICIDIAL server we usually recommend SATA ES drives(the ones with the 5 year warranty)

For Archive server, you pretty much have to go SATA, again I would recommend SATA ES drives for this application.
