Two clients in the conference

Postby searchtheyellowpages » Mon Aug 04, 2008 6:29 pm

Asterisk Ver: 1.2.24
Linux: CentOS
Kernel Ver: 2.6.18
Perl: 5.8.8
MySQL: 5.0.45

Situation: Agent places call on manual dial (Call 1). No one answers. Agent presses hang up, dispositions call, and then presses the "dial next number" button (Call 2). Now Agent is in the conference with Call 1 AND Call 2, and everyone can hear everyone else. This is obviously... slightly problematic. :)

Anything you guys need, lemme know.

vicidial.php version is 2.0.4-142, build 71129-2025

Load is 0.2

The issue occurs about 5 times a day, or so. When it happens it does seem to affect multiple agents at once. When it happens, the agents are able to log out for.. say, 10 minutes or so, and when they log back in, the problem has often resolved itself. If it hasn't, they log back out and repeat until it has (or until I manually restart asterisk).

We are using a SIP provider (VoipInvite), 10 lines, for outbound calls.

We've noticed that it joins agents to the same meetme conference (as each other) on login.

I would recommend upgrading to 2.0.4.1rc3. It is a fairly easy upgrade that does not require database changes from 2.0.4
