How to setup recording in Stereo format on VICIBox 6.0

Hi All,

Has anyone experienced the stereo recording configuration on cluster server?

I've setup vicibox 6.0 as cluster (Asterisk Version: 1.8.29.0-vici) on server machine. Please help to resolve my posted concern.

Post complete the call between agent and customer which recording output should be recorded in Stereo format that have to be in two separate parts (one side as customer voice and another side as agent voice) and then merge both two (in and out) recording parts into single recording file.

Hello,
Vicidial by default store the agent audio and the customer audio in 2 separated files (IN and OUT). I suggest you to edit the perl script that actually mix both files and adjust to your needs.

1) Welcome to the Party! 8-)

2) As you are obviously new here, I have some suggestions to help us all help you:

When you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method (7.X.X?) and vicidial version with build (VERSION: 2.X-XXXx ... BUILD: #####-####).

This IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "manual/from scratch" you must post your operating system with version (and the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system) plus a link to the installation instructions you used. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

3) The call is never in stereo. ULAW is a mono format (as is SLIN). The "Two Channels" recording are also a red herring, as there is NOTHING in one of the recordings and everything in the other, still mono. The "Mix" step puts the blank together with the all to create the final MP3, which is still mono.

4) Why are we discussing stereo? Is there a purpose to this? Or are you merely an audio aficionado who is insulted by the non-stereo-ness of these recordings? 8-)

1) Using predictive method for calling in campaign.
2) Agent uses X-lite as a soft phone for third party software.
3) While doing predictive calls, first of all customer number initiate to dial through trunk server to PRI server with help of IAX.conf config file and post that PRI server call to that customer number through sangoma PRI configuration. After answred that call by concern customer it lands to agnet frame and recording link will generate for that partiucular number.

Here recording format is generating in mono format but we need in Stereo format with -in and -out channels (should not delete while converting into single recording )which need to be merged into single stereo recording post complete the call.

In your crontab -e, do you have some lines that look like this:

I've put .pl script in crontab but both -in and -out recording are generating while conversation is active between agent and customer, during that active call one recording have only 44k size which does not have voice in recording and another recording have both customer and agent voice and post disconnect the call both recording merged into single one.

**I want to save both -in and -out recording in which one recording will have agent side voice only and another recording will have customer side voice on server and post complete the call also keep merged recording output of -in and -out into stereo format.


Requirement:
####First save -in and -out file with separate voice of customer and agent. (Not need to delete --in & -out file while converting into single recording as output)
####Second save final recording of -in & -out parts into stereo format.
