Lead modify screen hangup reason

When i go to a lead and view it in the lead modify screen and it says the hangup reason is AGENT, is this reliable or could there be a scenario where the client has hungup and not the agent while it displays hangup reason is AGENT?

It should be pretty reliable, although if the agent is in a call that was a 3way call sent from a fronter, then it's possible the customer could hang up and the hangup reason still be set to AGENT.
