Change Voicemail Server (Reporting) [SOLVED]

In the past, we never used the voicemail functions of ViciDial but with the new reporting requirements needing the Voicemail server is giving me some issues.

Everything is working fine but the server I have for the voicemail is in bad shape and needs to be rebuilt. I've tried changing the server in Admin > Settings but then my reporting breaks.

How can I change the VoiceMail server so that all keeps working and I can take that one server out of production?

Did you try forcing a rebuild of the conf files on your servers after you changed the voicemail server in System Settings?

One last question.

Does the Voice Mail server have to be set to a dialer or can it be on the DB server?

Yes, the voicemail server has to be a dialer.

Thank you very much. That explains why it never worked when I tried to change it to the DB server.

There is currently no way to have two voicemail servers in a VICIdial cluster. That would actually be very complex to engineer and could cause multiple issues in implementation.
