VICIDIAL for FreeSwitch

Postby tushkanwn » Fri Feb 12, 2010 7:49 am

Hallo!

i'd like to implement Vicidial on Freeswitch(API). Does anyone have any ideas/function models?
Thank you!

Good luck, it's basically a full rewrite of all telco interfaces in ViciDial. I've quoted 1000 hours for this, not surprisingly noone has taken me up on it.

How does the ViciDial API look? Could it be combined with Freeswitch API? I need only the non-agent-api. Schould I completely rewrite it, what do you think?

The ViciDial API is a function API, not a backend interface. ViciDial was written specifically to work with Asterisk, and there are many functions(like the Manage API interactions and meetme call handling) that are unique to Asterisk and would have to be drastically changed to work with FreeSWITCH.
