Predictive Dialer - Transfer Procedure?

Postby javacafe » Wed Feb 09, 2011 9:32 pm

Dear Team,

We are trying to develop the predictive dialer of Vicidial. I am seeing commercial program that are able to calculate the right ratio using different parameters such as:

Number of call centre staff available
Average number of line conversations per hour
Average number of line conversations per person
Call history to customers
Customer preferences (e.g. time of day)
Call priorities

Does anyone have previously work on this to Vicidial?

**Our question is we are unsure as to how Vicidial conference the (agent+softphone) to (8368+PSTN), once the call is answered by the customer. Any pointers on this would be helpful. Thank you all.

All this is in the manual available free at EFLO.net. Download it, read it, commit it to memory. Install it with Vicibox Redux 3.1.8 ".iso" available at Vicibox.com (and remember to thank Kumba for the .iso, and Matt for the Manual).

I highly recommend the Paid version of the manual, if you intend to have "deep" functions in operation and have more than 50 agents. It will (guaranteed) save you multiple times its cost.

Predictive Autodialing (dialing to keep 100 agents busy at all times with less than 15 seconds off-time between calls and very few drops if any) is what VICIDIAL was built for ... it is ALL in here already. The algorithm to dial is in the /usr/share/astguiclient folder in script format. Read up on the "Adapt" dial methods while you are "wandering" through the manual.
