SIP softphone

Hello Gents,

We are looking to embed a sip softphone into our inhouse software to reduce one less application/website that has to be delt with by our reps. I've seen the opensource project SIPTAPI, however we are looking for something that would be more doable in a .net vb/c application.

Any thoughts or suggestions on an embeddable sip and/or iax phone?

How about Mozphone- it's Firefox extension for IAX softphone. I've used it for a while, but not in production, so cannot comment further.

Come on. Show some cajones. Just embed asterisk. It's capable of being used as a phone.

I suggest trying the Sipek SDK - it's a C# wrapper that encapsulates the native SIP stack from the PJSIP project.

We're using it in our ViciDial integration project and it works very well, you just need to be careful around possible threading issues - I'd suggest grabbing the source of the example Sipek Softphone to see how best to go about implementing it.

mozphone is great, just make sure you enable ulaw and alaw codecs only, Im using them in one deployment, Just set it to hidden and auto answer and it will just be a 1 screen implementation without the agent even knowing that theres a softphone
