I am trying to install VICIBOX8, i am getting error of svn.eflo.net is not rechable ,i tried pinging that ,ping also not working.please any body help me with this.

svn.eflo.net is up and running. Can you confirm that you have a functioning network connection on that machine?

You need to do yast lan first, follow the vicibox install manual instructions.

Hi mflorell/dspaan,

First thanks for reply,I did yast lan first and after that i am doing vicibox-install,another vicidial.org is also pinging only svn.eflo.net is not pinging .i tried pining gmail.com,google.com everything is working only svn.eflo.net is not working.please help me where i did wrong.

I think svn.eflo.net blocks ping so that is normal. You should be able to do an SVN update now without problems if you have internet connectivity.

i am installing new vicidial8.1 after os-install,i did yast lan ,now network is working fine after that i have to install vicibox-install or vicibox-express ,while installing vicibox-install i am getting error as svn.eflo.net is not rechable ,i am not able to install vicibox ,now what steps i have to fallow suggest me.

Reaching the svn server is only necessary if you want to upgrade during the install instead of installing with whatever is on the disk already. So skip the svn/upgrade steps and just install with the contents of the CD. You'll be just fine with that version.

Just tried an svn update from home and no issues. I don't see any outage reports on our network monitoring system either.
