Just curious what everyone is using for SIP phones.

We use X-Lite for windows and QuteCom for Linux. We've looked at Zoiper, it works well, but you have should pay for it. What other options are out there for SIP phones?

Thanks!
Chuck

3CX is excellent. Free for the phone, they just charge for their PBX. Their phone allows unlimited SIP accounts and is only missing conference calling (which is obviously not a problem for Vicidial, which is built on conference rooms).

X-Lite is good, but we use an older version of it that has more features. We turn off updates as soon as we install.

Zoiper is good (weird lookin'). But we also use an older version of that which allows three accounts of either SIP or IAX (and turn off updates during install). The older version doesn't have any of the weird chat or other crap. Just a phone.

Also check out Twinkle, KIAX and Linphone.

You *SHOULD* get them from their manufacturers. But we keep spares online for when they disappear. lol (I can PM you a link to our copies if you want).

Of course, Zoiper also has a server-side web phone (per server licensing NOT free!) and then theres the ViciPhone ...
